System Series Padlock

System Series padlocks are designed to be keyed alike and master keyed with most existing Medeco® high security door hardware keying systems. The 54-X1 series offers superior weather resistance and the 54-X2 series offers excellent protection against bolt cutters.

Features & Benefits:

• 54-X1 series padlocks have polyurethane material around the shackle to help prevent water and dirt from entering the shackle holes. In addition, a dust cover protects the keyway from water and dirt.
• 54-X2 series padlocks have a shrouded shackle guard to provide additional resistance against bolt cutter attacks.

• Laminated steel body provides strength and protection against forced attacks.
• Boron alloy steel shackle resists up to 15,000 lbs. of pressure from bolt cutter attacks.
• Boron alloy steel shackle provides increased tensile strength and dual ball bearing locking design resists forcing of the shackle.
• Xenoy® thermoplastic cover on padlock body protects it from dirt and adverse weather conditions.
• Steel retainer screw and hardened steel cylinder retainer provide protection against dent puller attacks.
• Drainage channels allow water to flow through the padlock rather than getting trapped inside and freezing during cold weather.
• Utility patented key control, (for cylinders that incorporate the Biaxial® design), provides protection against the unauthorized duplication of keys.
• A special elevating and rotating pin tumbler design, along with false slots on the bottom pins, mushroom top pins and a sidebar mechanism, work together, to provide superior pick resistance.
• Angled cuts on the keys, along with fore and aft positioning, in the Biaxial design, provide added dimensions that dramatically increases key combinations and enables Medeco to produce some of the largest master key systems in the industry.

Metro Series Padlock

MetroLock® padlocks feature solid hardened solid steel bodies that offer superior protection against sledgehammers and other physical attacks. The are available with traditional shackles or a unique "shackless" design to provide maximum protection against bolt cutter attacks. They can be keyed into Medeco® cam and switch lock master key systems.

• Case hardened solid steel body provides excellent resistance against sawing, sledge hammers and other forms of attacks.
• Cylinder retainer protects cylinders from dent puller attacks that generate up to 1,350 lbs. of force.
• Case hardened alloy steel shackles resist up to 10,000 lbs. of pressure from bolt cutter attacks.
• Dual ball bearing locking design protects against pulling shackle of up to 4,500 lbs. of force.
• UL437 listing provides assurance that cylinders meet universal standards for drill and pick resistance and resistance against other types of forced attack.

Brass Body Padlock

Solid brass body with hardened steel shackle (for resistance to hack saws or bolt cutters) or stainless steel shackles (for corrosion resistance) and removable or interchangeable core cylinders. An optional rubber boot is available for additional weather resistance. Hardened steel inserts and rotating pins provide protection against picking and drilling and meet the UL 437 standard. The Medeco 3 design offers a utility patent which provides protection against unauthorized key duplication. Can be master keyed along with other door hardware products.

• Available with removable cylinders or interchangeable core cylinders.
